Using your GI Bill®

By Jess Johnson

Hi, I’m Jess Johnson. I am the Director of Admissions and the Veterans Affairs School Certifying Official (SCO) for Lynnes Welding Training, Inc. in Fargo, ND. We also have Jo Severson in our Bismarck location who is our SCO as well. We want to start off by saying thank you for your service! Whether you have welded before or not, our school is a great choice when it comes to jumping into the welding industry. Several Veterans have used their benefits to assist them in getting into and through our program. We also have the option of Financial Aid for those who are eligible at both schools.

Recently, we had a Navy Veteran come through one of our programs, graduate and enter the welding industry. He has some great things to share with us about his journey. Phil choose us because of our accelerated program. He had no welding experience before attending but liked to do things that challenged him. Additionally, Phil was offered a welding job six weeks into the program during a field trip. Click our YouTube video to watch and hear what Phil had to say about our program and using GI Bill® benefits.

If you are interested in talking to us in person or on the phone about using your benefits, contact:
